Our summer camp is for all horse-crazy kids, ages 5 through 15. Beginners and experienced riders are welcome to attend.
What Is It?
Our summer camp is a weeklong day camp with lots of riding and hands-on activities that will enhance each rider's knowledge and skills with horses. Our riders not only learn how to ride, but are given a solid foundation of the principles of good horsemanship with safety as the top priority. Riding instruction is centered around the Saddle Seat and Hunt Seat riding disciplines, with emphasis on a balanced seat. Our campers enjoy spending a majority of their time outdoors around the horses, and will make new friends who share common interests.
Why Sign Up?
Horseback riding is a great form of exercise and kids get to spend lots of time outside. Horses are great teachers, instilling upon us confidence, patience, discipline, flexibility, the value of hard work, and the ability to set and achieve goals. They even teach us that sometimes life isn't fair, even with hard work. These are all great life skills which help to shape our riders into successful adults who are able to navigate today's complex world.
Feel safe leaving your child with a PA-certified secondary education science teacher with over 30 years of equine experience. Our experienced and enthusiastic instructor will guide your child through a week of fun equine activities, games and engaging riding lessons!
When Is It?
Our camp runs from 9:00am until 3:00pm Monday through Friday, during the scheduled sessions throughout the summer.
